Welcome to the Topher Jam Smithy website where you'll find Audio, Video, and Games that are all made with free software programs.  Our goal here at Topher Jam Smithy (TJS) is to demonstrate what you can really pull off with audio, video, and game making software that won't cost you a penny.  You can watch our videos, listen to our audio, download and play our games, and figure out what programs we use for your own projects.  Oh, and hopefully find some of our media humorous in the process.  If you have any questions about how we did any of our audio, video, or game stuff, like effects or sounds and such, just leave your question in the comments and we'll answer it to the best of our ability as soon as we can.

    TELETUBIES FIGHTERS COMPLETED!

We've worked so hard to bring you the final version of Teletubies Fighters and it's finally here!  This game has taken us over two years to complete.  It feels good getting TTF of of the to-do list.  Now we'll be able to work more efficiently on other projects like improv' skits or claymations where every one dies at the end.  Sorry we kept you all waiting for this game for this long, but it's definitely worth the wait.  well, you can be the judge of that. 

    MUSIC PAGE UP AND RUNNING

I was requested to make a page exclusively dedicated to instrumental audio (aka music without any lyrics).  It's one of the biggest parts of TJS media that has yet to be exposed.

For those of you who enjoy our audio, you'll be excited to hear that our CD will be coming out soon.  Just in time for the holiday season (GAG!).  Not only will it include all of the website favorites, it will also include some exclusive bonus stuff, like crap that never got released and/or hilarious outtakes.

History

    TJS productions started a few years back and was originally called "The Undergroundz" that consisted of three members.  The Undergroundz was just a small group of friends who enjoyed mixing vinyl record drum-and-base tracks together (for those of you who don't know what a vinyl record is, it's a big, thin piece of round plastic that looks like a giant CD only black, and it sits on top of a big box called a "turn table/record player" that spins it around with a needle on the top of it that magically makes music. Once you've listened to about one or two songs, you'd get up, take the needle off the record, flip the record over, put the needle back on, and it would play another one or two songs before you'd have to either stop listening to music, or put a new record on.  This is the way old people listen to music).  As The Undergroundz grew in size, the location was forced to change which depleted the purpose of the name "The Undergroundz," hence the fact that the location was not underground anymore.  The name was changed to "TopherJamSmithy Productions" shortly afterwards and the location was and is still called "TJS Headquarters."  Production of audio, video, and games went public August of 2008 and here we are.
